These are gorgeous lustreware teapots. Lustreware was produced in Japan from the mid 1920s to the end of the 1930s. Japanese lusterware is a type of pottery that is decorated with a metallic oxide glaze to create an iridescent effect. The blue handled pot (6"h) is marked Made in Japan, the green handled (7"h) is marked Chikaramachi Hand painted, Japan. Both in excellent condition. Priced individually for your convenience.
