Villeroy & Boch Russian Fairy Tale Plates, Set of 6

This is a rare collection of a 6 plate set of Heinrich Russian Fairy Tales Plates, limited edition. All plates made in Western Germany by Heinrich Porcelain Fabrik, one of Europe's most prestigious porcelain houses. Each plate is approx 8.5" diameter and is ready to hang. Illustrator Boris Zworykin (1872-1942) is celebrated as one of Russia's most important ornamental illustrators. The original illustrations, created 100 years ago, are in the Metropolitan Museum at New York.
