This is a vintage lustreware teapot sans lid, but it is so beautiful on its own! Perfect as shelf decor or a vase. Lustreware was produced in Japan from the mid 1920s to the end of the 1930s. Japanese lusterware is a type of pottery that is decorated with a metallic oxide glaze to create an iridescent effect. "Handpainted in Japan.” Measures 6.5”h.
