Andrew Shunney (1916-1978), born in Massachusetts, USA, was an artist known for his still life and mural paintings. He studied at the Art Students League, then did further studies in Paris, and at the Salon d'Autimne. He later returned to Nantucket to pursue his career.
This gorgeous limited edition print (107/550), titled Nantucket Geraniums, features a vase full of coral and pink geraniums. The print is double matted with a salmon pink border and thick forest green mat. The 1.6" gold tone frame has some imperfections; the glass, mats, and print are in excellent condition. Authentication stamp: Authorized Estate of Nantucket, Andrew Shunney, is in the bottom right.
