Shipping and Returns

Shipping

We will do our best to find the most affordable and safe shipping option for your items within 24 hours of order placement. You will receive notification of tracking number as soon as the order is processed for shipment. If you did not receive this email, please search your spam folder.  We will only accept unopened and unused products for returns and exchanges if the item is damaged in shipping or you receive a defective item. We do our absolute best to pack your items with care so they will not be damaged during the shipping process; however, if you do receive a damaged order please email bellejardesign@gmail.com (please include a photo of the damaged product AND packaging) or call us at 703-266-2288 to start the refund process.  Please note a photo of the damaged shipment and packaging is required to have a refund issued. We will work with you to make it right! We currently ship via United States Postal Service (USPS), and United Parcel Service (UPS).

* Exception--Orders containing Stain & Finishing Oil or Fusion Gel Stain will ship UPS or USPS Ground ONLY, due to shipping restrictions on those products. Those shipment services can take up to 10 days to deliver. Belle Jar Design does not ship furniture items, ship heavy or oversized non-furniture items, or ship internationally.  If your order is undeliverable, unclaimed, or refused, we will refund the order upon its return to Belle Jar Design, minus shipping costs paid by you.

We are required to collect VA Sales Tax on all physical products purchased by and shipped to Virginia residents.

Returns & Pickups

All sales of home decor, refinished furniture, vintage items, gift items and jewelry are final. If an item is purchased and not picked up within one month from the shop, that item will be returned to our inventory at the purchaser's expense. We will call  and do our best to assist you with pickup, but the ultimate responsibility is with the purchaser.
